Here’s a new mixtape called Volume 3: Bridging the Gap - Toronto to North Carolina from DJ Wristpect from Toronto that’s hosted by Little Brother.  The concept was to include some of North Carolina and Toronto’s finest emcees on one mixtape.  I did an exclusive freestyle for it over one of Black Milk joints from the ‘the color purple’ beat CD.  It’s a free so download and enjoy it.  It’s got some new and old tracks plus some exclusives on it and Wristpect does his thing on the 1’s & 2’s as well.  Check it out and add DJ Wristpect on Myspace at www.myspace.com/djwristpect

….still can’t believe it

I just got the terrible news from my homeboy J-Scienide (who introduced me to alot of people in ATL) that our homie Jax of Binkis Recs passed away last night.  I’m still shaken up by it.  Unfortunately, he collapsed on stage due to cardiac arrest during the Binkis Recs performance at Lenny’s in Atlanta and was rushed to the hospital.  (more…)
