A few years back, I did a collabo with Stoupe (producer of Jedi Mind Tricks). If anyone knows about Stoupe then you know he is a very mysterious dude who is rarely seen or heard from. Stoupe doesn’t do beat tapes or none of that…he may work on a beat for months until it’s done. I’ve only spoken with him via email a few times but talked mostly to his manager, Yan, about doing a song together. I recorded one song to a random instrumental (I think it was a Hi-tek beat) and then sent him the vocals for him to craft a beat around it (which he does best in my opinion). I haven’t even heard the finished song so when I hear the actual album then that will be my first time hearing it. I expect nothing but dopeness though. It’s definitely a good look on the rap resume. His debut solo album entitled Decalogue is currently set for a March 31, 2009 release date on Babygrande Records. The info is below:
Decalogue is the long awaited solo debut by legendary Jedi Mind Tricks producer Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind. Throughout their career, indie powerhouse Jedi Mind Tricks (MC Vinnie Paz & producer Stoupe) have carved out a distinct niche in independent hip-hop. Stoupe has worked with Vinnie Paz for 12 + years, and has produced for such legendary MCs as Guru (Gang Starr), Canibus and 7L & Esoteric, earning him a spot in underground hip-hop’s elite. Weaving together classical music, cuban influences, and an unmistakebly underground sound, Stoupe’s unique style of production has helped to spawn an entire sub-genre. Now, for the first time, his signature sound is showcased in this one-of-a-kind collection, with features from some of today s hottest MCs, such as: Saigon, Joell Ortiz, M.O.P., Slaine, Vinnie Paz, Outerspace, Supastition, & more.
Well about a month ago, I took a quick trip to Atlanta to appear in a music video for AmDex(Clan Destined). We did the collabo a few months back and he blessed me with a couple beats for my upcoming projects in return. He’s an upcoming MC/DJ/producer (produced this track by the way) currently in ATL. By no way is this a Rik Cordero video but it serves its purpose. Most artists don’t even bother to send me a copy of the song after it’s done so at least AmDex took it a step further. I applaud him for that! Check it out…

There must be a new trend of horrible album and mixtape covers going on! For every bad rapper, there’s a bad graphic designer to match…lol. Sure, we have all seen the Big Bear (Doing Things) and Lil Flip (Leprechaun) covers but these joints flew under the radar. These would even make Lil Kam happy. Let the games begin…
Chances are, if you have seen me perform within the last 3 or 4 years then you’ve seen me rocking with Seven (formerly of The Nobodies). But he is FAR from a hypeman by any means (hell, I used to be his hypeman and roadie back in the day). We had a crew called Lost Colony that consisted of myself, Seven, Equinox (produced Crown Me on “7 Years..”, and Eagleman (produced Hip Hop Vs Life on “7 Years…”). Their influence can be heard heavily on my first album, 7 Years of Bad Luck.
Well, Seven currently has an album out entitled, Ridin’ High, on Domination Recordings. As a crew it was almost impossible to get everyone on a song together but this was one of the last ones we recorded together. Its called ‘Never Leavin A Trace’ (NLAT) and its produced by SC’s own Midi Marc. Leave some feedback and let me know what you think…

Okay, my homie DJ Forge (also my tour DJ) finally decided to get back on the beats once again. He refuses to make a beat on camera without his trademark ‘thinking cap’… lol. Check him out at djforge.com.
Here’s the video footage from my appearance on the Wake Up Show in L.A. w/ Keelay & Zaire. King Tech wasn’t familiar with who I was when I walked in but he knew me by the time I left! I come in around the 2:20 mark. Ever since the 90’s, I’ve always wanted to be featured on the Wake Up Show. Now I can mark that one off the bucket list
