Supastition is currenly working on his upcoming EP, 'Leave of Absence'. The 'Leave of Absence' EP was originally slated for a April '07 release but the release was pushed back due to Supa and Mrs Supa being involved in a car accident and totaling his car back in February. "It set me back a little but I'm back in the lab and getting focused again. Things could've been alot worse so I'm just grateful to be here," stated Supastition. The first leaked single from the release is the Khrysis-produced 'Word Has It' which has received rave reviews and a great response. The single is available for download at Supastition's Myspace page. Other production on the project will be handled Anthony Accurate, DR, M-phazes, Analogic, and Madwreck. 'Leave of Absence' is a limited edition EP that will be released digitally on August 28 and then available exclusively through Supastition.com in late September.
People have been going CRAZY over the new DJ KO track, 'Best To Do It', featuring Supastition, Royce the 5'9, and Elzhi (produced by M-phazes). Supastition stated, "It's a good look to be on a track with them. I didn't get on the song because I wanted to outdo anyone, I just wanted to hold my own and be heard. I'm fans of both of their (Royce and Elzhi) lyrics. Plus you got M-phazes on the beat so I knew it was gonna be insane." Although the song was unofficially leaked, please support DJ KO's upcoming project "Picture This" coming soon on Shaman Works. You can listen to the song in the HipHopGame.com audio section.
Recently, Supastition inked a publishing deal with powerhouse Missing Link Music. Missing Link's roster includes legendary artists such as Afrika Bambaata, Bobby Byrd, Eric 'Vietnam' Sadler, and many others. Also, Supa will be working with Foundation Media to digitally re-release his past works (7 Years of Bad Luck, the Deadline, Unreleased Remixes) and recent releases via iTunes and other digital stores in the forthcoming months.
Supastition's company, Reform School Music, has launched Reform School Radio which will be a monthly online radio broadcast hosted by Supastition, Brotha Soul, and J-Scienide. The radio show will featured different themed shows including tributes to old school 90's hip and R&B as well as some other interesting ideas. The first edition is currently available for FREE download. Download parts 1 & 2 and parts 3 - 5 as well. The Reform School Music brand will also be spearheading some other events and projects including the BOOMBOX Tour which is scheduled to kick off in Europe in January '08. Stay tuned for more details.

We made a mistake last month and listed the Duke Coffeehouse show In Durham, NC with the wrong date. The correct date of the event is Friday, February 23, 2007. We apologize for the confusion.
